After second day of heavy rain, decided to stop at Pinkham Notch and head back to the world. Left knee and both Achilles tendons all counseled caution, cold and wind sealed the deal. Until another time.

ReplyDeleteYou're and amazing "energizer bunny". Wife and I rode the Harley from Maryland to Rangeley in Sept. Hiked Rt 17 to summit of Saddleback Mt and then from Joe-Mary to Abul bridge - just for the fun of it. Had a great time hiking with you in 2014. Sailing the Chesapeake when not fixing something on the boat. Good luck with the rest of your journey.
